 Volume
To adjust the volume click one of the volume bars located at either side of the screen or press a number key between 0 and 9.
Fade track
To fade a track out click one of the buttons displayed below or press Ctrl and a number key between 1 and 5.
Pause
To toggle the pause state press the pause button or click the 'space bar'.
Skip track
To skip the current track and play the next in the playlist or play next random track if the plylist is empty click the 'skip' button.
Jump to position in track
To jump to a different position in the track click the bar displayed below.
Rewind track
To start the current track from the begining press the 'rewind' button displayed below.
Last track / history
To step back through the last tracks played press the 'last track' button displayed below.
Minimise
To minimise the jukebox click the full width bar at the top or the bottom of the screen or press Ctrl+m
Keyboard shortcuts
Ctrl + m : Minimise
Ctrl + 1-5 : fade track out over 1 to 5 seconds
Right arrow : skip track
Left arrow : play previous track
Space bar : pause
0-9 : Volume
Up arrow : move up active column
Down arrow : move down active column
Page Up : move one page up
Page Down : move one page down
Return/Enter : provokes the same function as a mouse click on the column
While in browse mode
TAB : Toggle the active field
A-Z : Show artists begining with key
Type the first characters of the artist's name, press ENTER when your selected
artist is displayed in the left hand column.
The right hand column will become
active which will display all the tracks within the chosen artists folder (and
subfolders).
While in browse mode when the left column is active
Return/Enter : Displays all tracks by selected artist in the right hand column
While in browse mode when the right column is active
Return/Enter : Opens the track menu
While track menu is open
1 : Add track to playlist (appends track to the playlist)
2 : Play now (skips the current track and plays the selected track)
3 : Play next (adds the track to the playlist in position 1)
4 : Add all tracks in current folder (album) to playlist.
5 : Add all tracks in parent folder (artist) to playlist.
or
move up and down menu with arrow keys and return key to select item.
While playlist menu is open
1 : Play now (skips the current track and plays the selected track)
2 : Play next (adds the track to the playlist in position 1)
3 : Removes the track from the playlist
or
move up and down menu with arrow keys and return key to select item.
How to quit
To quit click either one of the close buttons top left and right of the jukebox.
